Description: The White Cloud Mountain minnow is a small, peaceful, and active fish that is very popular with beginner aquarists. They have a streamlined, silver body with a bright red tail and dorsal fin. Males have a more intense coloration than females, and during breeding season, males develop a dark line down their sides.

Location: The White Cloud Mountain minnow is native to China, specifically the White Cloud Mountain area of Guangdong province. They were first introduced to the aquarium hobby in the 1930s and have since become one of the most popular freshwater fish.
