Water Parameters: Originating from the freshwaters of Thailand and Burma, the Kubotai Rasbora thrives in tropical environments. The water temperature should be maintained between 72°F and 82°F. The pH should ideally range from 6.0 to 7.5, reflecting the slightly acidic to neutral water conditions of their native habitat. The water hardness should be kept between 5 and 12 dGH.

Substrate Type: Dark, fine-grained substrate is ideal for the Kubotai Rasbora as it helps to enhance their stunning coloration. This can be supplemented with driftwood and leaf litter to more closely mimic their natural habitat.

Size: The Kubotai Rasbora is a small fish, usually growing up to about 1.5 inches in length. Due to their small size, they do not require a huge aquarium. A 10-gallon tank can comfortably accommodate a small school of these fish.

Best Keeping Tips: Kubotai Rasboras are schooling fish, so they should be kept in groups of at least 6 to 10. They are peaceful and get along well with other small, peaceful fish species. Provide plenty of hiding places using plants and decorations to make them feel secure. These fish prefer a diet of small live or frozen foods, like brine shrimp or daphnia, but will also accept high-quality flake foods.
